LI | SPOOF · SETUP GUIDE

Prepare your iPhone for LI Spoof.

Activate, pair and confirm DVT before your first location.

03 · PREPARE YOUR IPHONE

Developer Mode and the integrated tunnel

  1. Enable Developer Mode

Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode. Turn it on and restart. Unlock the phone, confirm Enable / Turn On and enter the device passcode. If the setting is absent, complete device preparation with Xcode or a compatible developer-app workflow first. Apple’s Developer Mode guide ↗

  2. Sign both extensions

Build 23 includes its developer tunnel. When signing with KSign or another signing app, keep both the tunnel and Live Activity extensions. The app and tunnel extension each require a provisioning profile that permits packet-tunnel-provider. A signer cannot add a permission missing from the certificate’s profiles.

  3. Connect the developer tunnel

In LI Spoof, open Settings → Device Connection → Developer tunnel, tap Connect and allow the iOS VPN configuration. Wait for Connected, then check VPN and DVT. After the first successful connection, Auto-connect when opening LI Spoof is enabled and can be changed here. If the integrated tunnel does not establish DVT, choose Use LocalDevVPN app. This disables in-app auto-connect, disconnects the app’s own tunnel and opens the separate app. Connect there, return and check DVT again. Confirm DVT after pairing; a connected VPN alone does not establish the developer service.

  4. Keep the first setup online

Keep the iPhone unlocked and Wi-Fi on for pairing. Give LI Spoof While Using the App location access when prompted. The system location indicator may appear during an active background session. You can request Always access manually in Settings → App preferences; iOS decides which permission prompts are available.

If connection fails, open the tunnel’s diagnostics and report the displayed error. VPN status and DVT readiness are separate checks. Starting DVT with mobile data already on may fail. See the cellular startup guide; the active-session check correction still needs confirmation on your iPhone.

04 · ACTIVATE & PAIR

Connect this iPhone to LI Spoof

  1. Activate your LARP IPAs license

Open LI | Spoof. On the activation screen, paste your LARP IPAs license key and tap Verify license. Find the key in your purchase email or Client Area. Keep internet available for activation and license checks. “Don’t know your key?” opens the Client Area.

  2. Open Device Connection

Tap the LI branding above the map to open Settings, then choose Device Connection. Open Developer tunnel and confirm it is connected.

  3. Pair on iOS 27

Tap Pair on This iPhone and allow Local Network and pairing-code notifications when prompted. When the LI Spoof notification shows the six-digit PIN, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode → Pair with Host and choose LI Spoof. Enter your iPhone passcode first, then the six-digit pairing PIN from the notification in the next prompt. Return to LI Spoof and wait for Pairing File: Saved. If this option is unavailable on your device, use the same-device pairing-file workflow below.

  4. Confirm the developer service

LI Spoof attempts automatic DVT checks when it opens or reconnects. If readiness is not confirmed, tap Check DVT Connection and wait for the developer-service reply. VPN Interface: Detected is a helpful signal; the service reply confirms readiness. If unavailable, check Developer Mode and prepare this iPhone in Xcode with compatible Developer Disk Image support, then retry.

iOS 18–26: use a Mac-created RPPairing file from this same iPhone and Import RPPairing File in Device Connection. The fully on-device pairing button is for iOS 27. Ask support for preparation steps matched to your iOS version if you do not have a pairing file.

05 · YOUR FIRST LOCATION

Spoof, check, then Reset

  1. Select a point

Tap the map or use Search Maps. The compact card shows the selected place, coordinates and distance/time estimate. The app and route planner open around your permitted user location, including after reopening. With location access unavailable, the map uses the last permitted location or its automatic view.

  2. Choose Teleport for the first check

Raise the panel to reveal Travel and choose Teleport. Tap Spoof and wait for the confirmed position. Open Apple Maps to check it, then return to LI Spoof.

  3. Restore your real location

Use the session’s Stop / Reset action or Settings → Reset Location. Wait for clear confirmation and check Apple Maps again. If Reset is unconfirmed, reconnect the integrated developer tunnel and retry Reset.

Starting a session away from Wi-Fi

Verify your license while online and finish pairing first. Keep the developer VPN connected, temporarily turn mobile data off and connect DVT, then restore data and start Spoof. The full notice explains the sequence, license checks, build 23’s active-session correction and what to do if it fails.

Open the cellular startup guide

VPN detected, but DVT disconnected?

The VPN interface and developer-service connection are separate. Pairing File must say Saved before DVT can connect. Build 23 explains missing or unfinished pairing and preserves an already confirmed active spoof session when Check DVT is pressed, keeping its holding task and connection intact. This correction passed a simulator regression test; confirm the behavior on your iPhone after updating.

  1. Open Settings → Device Connection → Developer tunnel and connect.
  2. Tap Check VPN and DVT, then keep the app open for the attempt to finish.
  3. Tap Copy connection report. Repeat once on Wi-Fi and once on mobile data, then share the two text reports with support.

The report includes private tunnel addresses, TCP reachability, handshake stages and error codes. It excludes license keys, pairing files and route locations. A reachable TCP port alone does not confirm pairing or DVT readiness.

Next: movement and routes

Walk, Cycle, Drive and Fly move toward the selected destination. Adjust speed with the movement controls, up to the app’s 450 km/h limit. Route opens the original planner: add stops from the map or search, then use its stop-editing and Reorder controls before starting. The + button opens the original search. Open the … menu for Save route and Saved / Recent routes. Saving keeps the current stops and route options; loading restores them into the same planner.

Choose what happens when you leave

In Settings → App preferences, choose Keep location to continue the route while iOS permits background execution, or Reset on leave to request a reset after three seconds. A completed route holds its destination until you explicitly reset it.

Resume an interrupted route

Open Route history / resume in App preferences to inspect the last observed checkpoint. After reopening in Keep location mode, the latest unfinished route restores its full geometry, stops and progress, then shows Continue and a red square stop button. Choose Continue to resume from the saved checkpoint once the license and DVT connection are ready, or Stop to request a location reset. Recovery stays pending until movement is observed. A completed route or an explicit Reset prevents recovery. If Continue is waiting, confirm DVT; the saved recovery remains available in Route history. Progress, ETA and a local street-map preview, a sharp cyan marker for the last confirmed spoof position, solid purple completed travel and a dashed upcoming path can appear on the Lock Screen and supported Dynamic Islands when Live Activities are enabled.

If updates stop, the app can report that route updates are unconfirmed. Always location access and Live Activities do not guarantee execution after a force-quit. Reopen the app to check the connection and session status.
